(1906-1994) painter

1928-33 attended the private art school of Artúr Podolini-Volkmann and that of István Szönyi.
He was a member of the Group of Socialist Artists and of the Széchenyi Academy of Art.
Since 1921 he had lived in Hungary, went on study tours to Transylvania (Romania), Italy and Denmark.
From the late 1930s on ha painted non-figurative pictures on the influence of Bauhuas-trained painters. In the 40s he created figurative and abstract-figurative artworks and book illustrations. Before he passed away in 1994, he had tries his hand at a variety of art tendencies.
